Our truest expression yet of a Monticello Chardonnay. Malolactic fermentation, plus aging in new, second year, and neutral French Oak, creates a classic Chardonnay. The nose has pronounced aromas of toasted vanilla, followed by green apple on the palate, and a bright, lush finish. 100% estate fruit.

An elevated experience for lovers of dessert-style wines. The effect of barn-drying a portion of these late-harvest grapes, along with aging in new French Oak and Acacia wood barrels results in a wine rich in complex aromas of honeysuckle, ripe melon, pineapple and vanilla, medium sweetness and body on the palate and a lush, pleasing finish. 100% estate Petit Manseng (late harvest).

Cabernet Franc

Cabernet Franc is the #1 planted varietal in Virginia. Our 2023 vintage offers violet notes on the nose, followed by a lively palate of white pepper and fresh berries, and a long, pleasing finish. Aged 10 months in 20% new French oak. 100% Valley Road Vineyards estate fruit.

Dark fruit on the nose, with medium body. This blend features acidity mid-palate and medium+ tannins. 50% Petit Verdot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Malbec.
Aged 20 months in 50% new oak and 50% neutral oak. Will continue to age in the bottle for five-plus years.

A wine rich in antioxidants, the 2021 Tannat has an aromatic nose of black fruit. Its medium body is complemented by medium acidity and refined tannins. Aged 20 months in neutral oak.
