Valley Road Vineyards Captures Gold in Monticello Wine Cup Competition

Valley Road Vineyard’s 2021 Meritage and 2024 Albariño were awarded Gold Medals in the Monticello Wine Cup Competition.

The judging, once again led by Frank Morgan, was held on Sunday, April 12th in the Valley Road Vineyards Event Barn. A panel of distinguished judges came together to evaluate wines from more than 30 wineries in the Monticello AVA. All wines submitted were required to be made with fruit grown in the Monticello AVA.

Gold Medal winners will pour their wines and be celebrated at the Monticello Wine Trail’s signature event — the Moon Friday, June 26, 2026 at the Boar’s Head Resort.
