Featuring Valley Road’s own Ben Hernandez on vocals and the mandolin, Gallatin Canyon makes their home in Charlottesville, Virginia, where the band was founded in 2011 (despite the Montana namesake!).

True to their Virginia roots, the band is known for traditional bluegrass music with a unique and modern sensibility. Nodding to the bluegrass past with a traditional spin, Gallatin is also known for rebooting tunes from both the classic country and classic rock genres. At any given show, you can expect to hear a vibrant, eclectic blend crossing multiple musical genres.
