FACE COVERINGS:

    • To provide a safe environment for all guests and our staff, all visitors to Valley Road are required  to have and wear face coverings when approaching our Greeter upon arrival and when otherwise not seated at their table. Please note that for reasons of safety and basic courtesy to other guests, we have instructed our staff not to delay the seating of compliant guests by engaging in debate with guests who decline to wear the required face covering; if you do not wish to wear a face covering, please select another venue.
    • Please bring your own face covering.
    • Children under 5 are not required to wear face coverings.

ADDITIONAL POLICIES:

  • All guests will be expected to observe social distancing (6-foot minimum) with any persons that are not members of their party.
  • Children are welcome at Valley Road Vineyards. Our Greeter will consult with you upon arrival to determine which seating area best suits your family. All children 5 and older are required to masks when not seated at their table
  • Please mind the weather and bring suitable cold or wet weather gear! Since we are primarily an outdoor facility, we want to ensure that you are comfortable while here.
  • We provide complimentary plastic cups, or guests may choose to purchase one-way take-home logo glasses for $1.50 each. You are also welcome to bring your own glass.
  • We kindly request that guests place used cups and bottles in nearby receptacles to minimize handling by our staff.
  • Use of our no-contact GoTab© ordering system (via guests’ smartphone) is available if you would like to minimize contact; orders may be picked up at the walk-up bar. Credit and debit card purchases are preferred over cash.
  • Outside food is permitted and you are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy your stay!
  • Pets are welcome in our outdoor spaces. Please ensure they are on leash and we suggest that you bring their own water bowls.
  • In the event of rain, guests will be asked to shelter in their cars and not congregate under the porch, tent, or in other confined spaces.
  • As always, no outside alcoholic beverages are permitted on the premises. Only Valley Road Vineyards wines purchased during the visit for on premises consumption may be consumed during your stay, in accordance with Virginia ABC regulations. This is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy: outside alcohol will be confiscated and guests may be asked to leave the premises.

* As an Albemarle County farm winery, Valley Road Vineyard is subject to Albemarle County Emergency Ordinance 20-(E)5, effective August 1, 2020 through November 19, 2020.
